Gut to Brain – How Your Food Controls Your Behavior
Our gut is made up of microbiome which the The National Human Genome Research Institute refers to as a “collective genomes of the microbes (composed of bacteria, bacteriophage, fungi, protozoa and viruses) that live inside and on the human body”. Between 1990 to 2003, an international team of researchers accomplished an internal mapping of all the human genes in the human body in an effort known as the Human Genome Project.
