Hopping in a sauna has been a tool I’ve used off and on for many years, primarily to cut weight for jiu-jitsu and wrestling tournaments. It was always a love-hate relationship when getting in the sauna, but as I’ve learned more about their laundry list of benefits, the pendulum has shifted to a relationship filled mostly with love. In fact, for the past two months since moving to Idaho, I have been getting into the sauna (and ice bath) at my favorite sauna/ice bath studio about 4-6 days per week.
